The Lehigh Valley Health Network Marathon for Via (LVHN Marathon) is a unique five-person Team Relay, individual run, Half Marathon and 5K Walk. RUNNING FOR THE DOGS!The National Canine Cancer Foundation presents "The Bruiser" 5K and "The Sarge" walk on Saturday, September 25th. All monies will be specifically applied to NCCF's grant DT06PA-001 with the Penn Veterinarian Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Canine Cancer Research. This is a professionally timed event by Pretzel City Sports at the beautiful Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, PA"The Bruiser" Memorial 5K remains committed and passionate in the quest to fight canine cancer. In 2009 we had over 100 registered runners and we raised over $8000 for the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Veterinarian Medicine.To help make the event a little more dog friendly we have added a 5K Walk with your Dog in Memory of the top fundraining Team - Team Sarge, team leader Mimi Harnish. Sarge was a dedicated loving dog who lost his fight with cancer in July of last year.
